1. When do we want to go?

The "season" in the islands is roughly April through October. Spring, early summer and fall are ideal times to visit. Summer is beautiful, but plan on higher temperatures and more crowds. Winter can bring crisp golden days or heavy rainfalls.

2. How long do we want to stay?

Remember, it takes a whole day of traveling in each direction. To really experience the lifestyle, character, cuisine and ambience of the country, we recommend at least 2 weeks. We understand, however, that sometimes you just can't be gone that long, so we are happy to help you with shorter visits too.

3. What are the areas and sites we MOST want to visit?

Are you especially interested in Classical Greece and the archaeological sites such as Olympia and Delphi? Are the islands more to your liking?

4. Do we wish to see as many places as possible or would we rather stay in fewer places for longer time?

 

5. What kind of accommodations do we want?

We can provide anything you wish from clean and simple hotels to the most deluxe. All of our lodging choices offer private bath and almost always continental or buffet breakfast.

6. What kind of activities do we enjoy?

Are you happiest in a city or island that provides more sophisticated restaurants and lifestyle? Do you want to sightsee, hike, snorkel or just as soon sit in a harbor front taverna and watch the world go by?

7. Do we want to spend some time on the water - i.e. sailing or cruising
    - Or would we rather island hop by ferry or short flights?

8 DAYS - GREECE VACATION with CLASSICAL EMPHASIS
Day 1	U.S. - Athens
Day 2	Arrive Athens and transfer to your choice of hotels. Spend the afternoon walking through the Plaka. Visit the Acropolis, Enjoy a simple dinner in a nearby taverna.
Day 3	Begin 4 day Classical tour visiting major archaeological sites of Olympia, Delphi, Corinth and more.
Day 4	Continue 4 day tour
Day 5	On tour
Day 6	Return in the evening to Athens
Day 7	Take a 3 island one day cruise to the nearby islands
Day 8	Return to the U.S.

8 DAYS - GREEK ISLAND HOPPING VACATION
Day 1	U.S. - Athens
Day 2	Arrive Athens and enjoy walking through the Plaka
Day 3	Visit the Acropolis and Archaeological Museum. In the evening fly to Santorini and transfer to your hotel in Imerovigli or Oia
Day 4	On your own in Santorini. Visit the ancient city of Akrotiri
Day 5	Santorini - enjoy the pool at your beautiful hotel on the edge of the caldera
Day 6	Take the hydrofoil to Mykonos and transfer to your hotel at the edge of the town overlooking the harbor. Spend the afternoon exploring the tiny winding streets of Mykonos town
Day 7	Visit the sacred island of Delos
Day 8	Return to Athens and the U.S.

12 DAYS - 2 GREEK ISLANDS VACATION
Day 1	U.S. - Athens
Day 2	Arrive Athens and relax this afternoon
Day 3	Spend the day visiting the sites of Athens
Day 4	Take a one day tour to Delphi
Day 5	Try a ferry ride. Spend 6 hours on board ship to Naxos. Stay in Naxos town
Day 6	Naxos - Rent a car and drive to the many interior villages
Day 7	Naxos - Relax on the beach - do some shopping
Day 8	Take a ferry to Paros and go to the fishing village of Naousa
Day 9	Paros - spend the day discovering Naoussa and relaxing by the pool
Day 10	Paros - Rent a car and find hidden villages and hiking paths
Day 11	Paros - Visit the main town of Parikia, find a secluded beach
Day 12	Return to Athens and the U.S.

15 DAYS - 3 GREEK ISLANDS VACATION
Day 1	U.S. - Athens
